• Recommended Flush (mm³) = Base Flush Volume (150 mm³) × (Source Tint Strength / Target Tint Strength) × Slicer Flush Multiplier

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does transitioning from black to white require more flush volume?
Dark pigments (carbon black) have high optical tinting strength. Even a tiny trace left in the nozzle hotend will tint incoming white filament grey. Transitioning from white to black requires much less flush.
